We are actively seeking ambitious Business Associates / Consultants to join our growing team here at TEQ Group.

We are a team of experienced professionals helping our business clients improve their cashflow through:

  • R&D Tax Credits
  • Business Energy
  • Business Cost Management

We are looking for self-employed associates/consultants who would like to work in any, or all of these fields.

R&D Tax Credits:

R&D tax credits are the governments way of rewarding businesses for being innovative.  Whilst most large companies are already making claims, the majority of SME’s are still missing out on this valuable benefit due to a lack of knowledge of the scheme or their own perceptions of R&D restrictions.  We aim to change this.

The average tax benefit for the Small or Medium Enterprise (SME) scheme in 2015/16 was £61,200.

We are a team of technical consultants, using our technical knowledge to help our clients unearth eligible projects for R&D tax credit claims.  Our management team have over 10 years’ experience in helping clients claim for R&D tax credits.  They have worked for both large tax boutiques and Top 5 Accountancy practices.

We mainly work with accountancy practices and professional service referrers and their clients, offering specialist advice and support in the field of R&D Tax.  We also work directly for clients.

We are looking for Associates who can either drive the business forward and/or can assist with writing detailed technical reports for HMRC.

Successful candidates are not required to have taxation experience, but they must have experience in, or a background of, working at a senior level in a business environment.  A technical or scientific background would be advantageous.  Full training and support will be provided in the role.

Business Energy:

We are not typical energy brokers.  We don’t employ banks of telesales staff employing hard sell techniques.  We work on a consultative basis with all of our clients offering them better ways to procure their energy contracts and to manage and reduce their consumption.

We utilise the latest technologies with our energy offering, which includes an advanced reverse energy auction platform and an IoT based energy/resource management platform.

Experience of the energy industry is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Business Cost Reduction:

In addition to business energy, we also assist our clients in reducing their costs in over 40 different categories from Telecoms to Office Supplies to food and merchant cards.

Many SME’s don’t have the time or resources to manage their cost base on an ongoing basis, which results in them often paying more than they should for their essential services.

Our cost reduction service helps to ensure clients don’t pay more than they should for reliable services.

Experience of cost reduction/procurement in preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

 

We are looking for self-assured, confident, self-starters with excellent sales experience, drive and ambition to help us drive our business forward.  In return you can earn unlimited commissions and will be fully supported in your role. Training and marketing support will be provided for all roles.
